HOW TO GET HERE

You can reach me easily by LRT or by car. I am twenty minutes from the centre of
Florence, an hour from Pisa, Siena and Bologna, and 30 minutes away from
Florence international airport.

By Car

I am located in the Scandicci hillside, less than two miles (2.7 km) from the centre
of Scandicci which borders with the city Florence.
Follow the signs for Villa Antinori – Villa Torrigiani when in Scandicci.
If you are coming from Rome, keep on the A1 northbound, follow the directions
for Bologna and exit at Scandicci. The same instructions apply if you are coming
from Milano or Bologna, follow the directions for Rome and exit at Scandicci.

Parking

There is no designated visitor parking, but I will leave my personal parking space available for you. Car parking is unattended, and you should not leave objects of value in your vehicle.

Light Rapid Transit (LRT)

The T1 line runs between the main train station Santa Maria Novella (SMN) in the centre of Florence and Scandicci. Take the LRT in the direction of Villa Costanza. It runs every 4 minutes from 5:00 a.m. to midnight. Tickets must be purchased prior to boarding from automatic vending machines at every stop, or at the tobacconist, newsstands, or ATAF counters in the Santa Maria Novella train station. I strongly advise you to buy tickets in advance, since the automatic vendors at tram stops are very frequently out of order. There is also the possibility to buy them onboard using your credit cards. The tickets must be validated in the yellow machines onboard as soon as you get on board. The tickets cost € 1.70/each and last 70 minutes. Travel time between Florence and Scandicci is about 20 minutes. I will wait for you at Villa Costanza.
