“Just a Bite” Experience

Pizza and Tiramisù, or hand-made gnocchi (or spaghetti all chitarra) and a seasonal side dish — you can share the experience with your children. And of course, an aperitivo and a bottle of wine (one bottle every 4 people) will complement our meal. If you have any questions, I’ll be happy to chat about them with you. Italian cuisine is rich with alternatives, so even in this limited range of dishes we can really play with ingredients and creativity.
I’ll help you to select a Meat Menu, Fish Menu or Vegan/Vegetarian one. Vegetarians have ample choices too, with cheeses and seasonal vegetables.
When the weather is favourable, we will enjoy the fruits of our labours in the garden as we share a family dinner together. With views facing Florence, the 20-minute trip is worth it! Transportation can be arranged, if you need it – just let me know a few days before.
I am happy to work with small groups, including children accompanied by a related adult. If you prefer enjoying your class with adults only but have children with you, just let me know in advance. I collaborate with an agency of young and enthusiastic native English speaking babysitters.
I change our menus to suit the seasons and use local, fresh, and organic ingredients from nearby farms.

The Full Treat

This experience includes a panorama of a typical Italian three-course dinner: hand-made pasta (gnocchi, stuffed pasta, and lasagna), a nice range of not very time-consuming second courses & desserts.
Of course, on request, I am ready to discuss alternatives for fish lovers and vegetarians with you, exploring the many alternatives offered by Italy’s amazing richness in ingredients.
This includes a welcome bottle of Prosecco and some amuse-bouche in the afternoon as an aperitivo, a typical little break everybody enjoys. In my hands-on class, you’ll prepare the meal under my supervision and with tips. Finally, we’ll share the three-course dinner together with selected Italian wines. Pasta Galore

A journey through regional specialties, including passatelli & salad for lunch, and lasagna and bollito & sauces for dinner, with selected wines. Or the richness of linguine with seafood and seafood stuffed pasta.

Special Italian primi (first courses) of every kind, soups included, according to personal tastes and dietary requirements. Some of them are my personal creations. I want to introduce you to gnocchi, noodles, stuffed pasta, and creamy risottos. If you are very skilled and are used to making dough, we can replace a simpler dish with lasagna. We’ll work hard together but in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying our welcome Prosecco with snacks as an aperitivo, and wine which complements the dishes.

The Total Experience

1 or 2-day full menu experience includes a panorama of hand-made pasta (gnocchi, stuffed pasta, and lasagna), hand-made pizza, and a nice range of second courses which are a bit too time-consuming for a standard class: making marinades and sauces for the evening meat dishes, preparing the meats, & desserts.
